Monarda 'Grand Parade' Tesselaar

Monarda 'ACrade' is solid under the trade name Grand Parade™ and exhibits excellent powdery mildew resistance. A lack of vigor was a common complaint among compact cultivars this size; however Grand Parade™ proved exceptionally robust. Perhaps because of this, Grand Parade™ was also the first Monarda to develop a hole in the center of the mass.

What a perfect little bee balm. 'Grand Parade' practically explodes with lavender flowers that are covered all summer long with busy butterflies and bees. Because of its small stature, it's a great perennial for the front of the border. 'Grand Parade' grows 15 to 18 inches tall. The plant grows in a nice, tidy clump.
